Peristaltic pumps
Peristaltic dosing pumps
How they work:
An impeller with several rollers rotates while squeezing a hose (a higher number of rollers increases precision). This allows the liquid to be sucked and pushed through the pump.
Advantages:
- Ideal for aseptic, corrosive and abrasive liquids.
- Easy installation and maintenance
- Cost-effective maintenance thanks to no valves, seals or bushings
- Reversible direction of rotation for draining the line and eliminating blockages
- Virtually pulsation-free operation
- Different conveying hose materials to suit different fluids
- Suitable for continuous or batch operation
- Multi-head pumps available for simultaneous transfer of different products
Areas of application:
- Laboratory environments
- Single-use applications
- Conveying and (precision) dosing of aggressive media
- Transport of shear-sensitive liquids
- Volumetric pumping of a wide range of liquids
This type of pump is particularly characterized by its versatility and robustness. The simple design enables cost-effective and efficient maintenance with high operational reliability.
